About: Ruby arrived at the sanctuary in November 2024. At just two years old, she’s already been through more change than most dogs should ever have to face. A brief adoption didn’t work out; returned after a misunderstanding that likely stemmed from fear and uncertainty rather than any true aggression. Since coming back, Ruby has shown us who she really is: a gentle, affectionate little soul who thrives with calm companionship and understanding.

Here in the sanctuary, Ruby spends her days with her two tiny companions, Prince and Joey. Because of her sensitive nature and past experiences, Ruby has been given a “forever dog” designation. Here, she gets to enjoy stability, companionship, and the comfort of a routine which we hope makes her feel secure.

Ruby is a sweet little character with a big heart, and we’re committed to giving her all the love she deserves..
