About: Together with Riley, Toby is one of the “top dogs” in the sanctuary. For an older dog, he has boundless energy, loves to play, and is never without a ball or kong in his mouth. Rain, hail, sleet or shine, you will always find Toby hanging out in the yard ready to play. Toby loves playing with any form of water (especially the hose) and splashing about in the paddling pool, when the weather allows. 

In his quieter moments, he loves some one-on-one attention from volunteers and will happily rest his head on your knee for ear scratches, while gazing up at you with his soulful brown eyes. Toby is a much loved resident of the sanctuary.
