About: Tyler is one of our beloved forever dogs here at the sanctuary – and a proud member of the infamous Yorkie Mafia. While home life wasn’t quite his scene (he made that clear with his teeth), he’s a charmer with the volunteers… most of the time.
Tyler’s favourite pastime is overseeing the sanctuary from the indoor table. He takes his duties very seriously, especially when he can keep an eye on the other dogs from up high like the miniature Mob Boss he believes he is.
He’s also become something of a legend for confusing new volunteers by settling himself into a pile of empty water bowls. But Tyler isn’t odd; he’s clever. Those metal bowls sit under a heat lamp, and he has simply claimed the warmest seat in the house.
Tyler may be small, opinionated, and occasionally a menace, but we wouldn’t have him any other way.
