Founded in 1987, Dogs Aid is a volunteer-run rescue charity dedicated to helping unwanted and abandoned dogs in Dublin. We have a no destruction policy if the health of the dog is recoverable. As a result, we have a number of Forever Dogs who live at the sanctuary. We also look after cats and some wildlife from time to time. We are entirely staffed by volunteers and funded by public donations.
We also run a first aid veterinary clinic in Ballymun on Tuesday evenings between 5pm and 6.30pm.
Dogs Aid is a registered charity in Ireland, operating under Charity Regulators Number 20040291 and Charity Tax Number CHY 13174.
